Parking Guard with OBD cable

Can the parking guard be activated via the OBD cable? At it seems to do after the ignition is turned off is to continue recording as per normal and not go into parking guard mode.
 
It should be. But we have not tested it before. We recommend the original hardwire kit of mini 0906
 
there is not Parking signal from the OBD cable.
the Parking Guard Hardwire Kit is designed for exclusive usage
