Parking mode battery questions

I purchased the DR750S-2CH camera and a B-124X battery this winter. Finding that it didn't quite get the parking mode time I preferred, I added the B-124E expansion battery. Now I seem to have two dilemmas. The first is a good way to secure the battery packs under the front passenger seat. The second problem is that it seems that my daily commuting seems to not be enough to charge the batteries. So I'm looking for suggestions on how to augment the battery charging, as well as a good way to keep the batteries secured under the seat.

The batteries come with velcro-backed adhesives - these should allow you to stick the battery onto any surface then use the other piece to stick together with the battery pack. Zip ties may help as well.

You can get a 12V power inverter that will charge from a regular home outlet, but this means you'd need to take the batteries home to charge up.
