Parking Mode in dark unlit areas...

I used the WIFI feature to get a live view with my cam. The range is pretty good. Watched while in my house and WIFI was reachable through a stone wall and my car was parked on the street. Having said that, in a dark area, the parking mode is useless. The live view was OK but the cam would be better off with night vision.

You can increase the Ev or turn on WDR when parking in dark areas.

Only an IR cam can 'see' in total darkness and even then it needs IR illumination to do that. One cannot expect such performance in any regular dashcam, but if there's any light at all working with EV settings in the cam, and contrast or brightness settings in the viewer, can usually help you get something which is better than nothing!
