Hi everyone.
I recently had a DR590X-2CH dashcam installed in my 2021 Audi Q3. The installation was done by Halfords, and I believe it’s hardwired. While the dashcam works perfectly in normal recording mode, I’m experiencing issues with parking mode.
Here’s what happens:
• After turning off the ignition and locking the doors, the dashcam continues recording in normal mode for about 4-5 minutes (orange LED and Wi-Fi LED remain on).
• After those 4-5 minutes, the dashcam announces “Parking mode is on,” the orange LED turns off, and only the Wi-Fi LED stays on.
• However, about 1 minute later, the dashcam announces “Powering off,” all three LEDs blink briefly, and the camera shuts down.
I tried this process twice and observed the same behavior both times.
Could you help me understand what’s causing this and how to resolve the issue?
