Parking mode settings

After getting the replacement 750LTE I installed it, also the big battery pack.
Now, I noticed that the parking mode with time lapse is not so great!
For example, when I go the car and I open it, will trigger event, but the video event file created doesn’t catch me in front of the car, only starts after I shut the door.
For a buffered event to be reliable we need around 10 seconds before the impact...
The time lapse file also doesn’t catch me, maybe 1 frame. I think in real accidents Is not reliable enough!
What settings do you use on BlackVue?
Motion and impact detection will do normal recordings, but will overwrite all footage after 7h on 128 gb card. Will test with motion detection also.

Check your detection regions, also the 750lte (at least the 2ch) has a built in delay if it detects the door or trunk setting it off so to reduce needless triggers as was an issue early on and received a lot of heat for.
