No, if you power via the mount, the 3 wire kit will work like a 2 wire kit.

Yes.
 
And low bitrate is continuous with audio, as long as you are in a car park then it is almost indistinguishable from normal recording.
 
How about parking mode with a powerbank? Plugging into mount versus the cam, which is best?

I'm also finding on low bit rate my 26800Mah powerbank runs out much faster than when using event detection. This is because its monitoring pixel changes? My car is facing a street three blocks away where there is constant traffic but nearby there is no movement.

I use parking mode with a powerbank plugged into the mount, but that's because I don't have a hardwire kit. I unplug the cable at the car charger end and plug it into the powerbank whenever I'm parked. I don't think mount vs camera makes any difference if just using a powerbank.

Low bitrate probably drains your powerbank faster than event detection since it's recording continuously rather than occasionally.
