Parking mode?

I have this dashcam hardwired to an always-on fuse and have the 180614s firmware installed, but it never seems to go into 'parking mode'. I thought that this was supposed to happen automatically if the unit detects no motion for a few minutes... The videos seem exactly the same however. Any ideas?

Look at the volume of files, when you switch to parking mode, the dashcam starts recording with a low bitrate and the files in this mode will be several times smaller in volume. No more differences.
And check to what level of sensitivity the G-sensor is installed

I think the files were about the same size, but I'll double-check.
That's a good point - I had the G-sensor sensitivity left at 'Low' as default. I figured that if the car was parked then it wouldn't trigger the detection, but maybe I should try it at 'Medium'.
