Parking Recordings on microSD, driving recordings on SSD

Is there a way, or a potential update future, to have the MicroSD automatically "backup" any parking mode files to the SSD once the car is started? I would prefer keeping all files on the SSD for the security of having the hidden SSD in case of theft break-in. Terrible that parking mode storage works best, or some options even require, the MicroSD card as storage for parking mode.

Tonight I put 8 hour hybrid (detect>impact), so curious to the Powercell 8 battery remaining and how many recordings I have tomorrow morning.

The SSD is already too busy to record the driving videos.
The backup must be done only when the dashcam is not recording.
I don't see a way to make it automatically because the dashcam is recording in Driving mode and in Parking mode and in theory it never stops if you will not do it manually.
During parking mode for sure is not possible because in HPM only the card is active.

Could I change the audio button on the Bluetooth button to do an backup of the MicroSD without needing to open the app attach to the wifi and deal with my Android Auto fighting over the Wifi connection to my cellphone.

Only if @VIOFO-Support will add such a function. But again, I expect the dashcam to stop recording during the transfer.

Just wondering: Is this a hypothetical situation or are you worrying about a hypothetical, specific scenario that has not yet happened to anyone?

1. A thief breaks into your car, not run into it (the usual dashcam parking mode scenario).
2. They take your MicroSD, or the entire dashcam, but aren't smart enough to also take the "hidden" SSD that's wired to the dashcam.
3. And they don't rip out the dashcam fast enough so your critical footage never makes to the SSD.

This seems like a lot of complexity and effort to cover a rare scenario. Instead, a dashcam that continuously uploads your footage to the cloud is probably a better safety mechanism that also protects this scenario.

And I will tell you another scenario:
4. Viofo company and all Youtubers are giving the advice to put the SSD into the glove box. When a thief will enter into your car for sure will search into the glovebox and if they will find there a SSD they will steal it because they can obtain easy money on it.

Now back to parking mode:
1. at least for the moment, the Hybrid parking mode is offered only on Card for all videos, including the normal parking mode videos, not only the impact videos.
2. If you are afraid thief will steal your dashcam and card, better to no use Hybrid parking mode
3. Hide the SSD in any other place than the glove box.
4. Hiding the SSD is much more cheaper and error free compared to cloud uploading.
5. Impact mode will stay forever on card because the SSD is drawing too much power and wake up timer is higher than on card.

Maybe after the impact recording, the camera complete the back-up before it enter to the standby?

Yes, this can be a good solution, lets hope will be not many consecutive impacts and the camera to freeze because it doesn't know what to do first: to record or to transfer?
Also, what will happen with the file not transferred completely if the impact mode will start recording a new video.
To not go in such a situation, the LPID should be cancelled during backup on SSD.
