Please help me understand the wiring!

Hi - after sifting around for a bit I think that a 0903 model is a good choice for me, but I want it hard-wired. I don't want the parking guard (ie I just want the thing to come on when the ignition is turned on and I don't want to use the external cigarette lighter).

I've looked inside my fuse box and I can use a fuse that currently used for the automatic seat moving (there are a few fuses used for that). Anyway, the fusing options for this model confuse me totally as the parking one is angled I think (?) it plugs into the camera and not the base so it's not what I need?

This has a hard wire option and looks like it has a proper voltage converter thing. I was thinking that I'd want a wire to connect to the fuse adaptor when I get one (red I think) and a wire acting as an earth. However, there are three wires - can anyone tell me what I am supposed to do with them?

[Edit = looking at it, that last kit has a mini usb so wouldn't quite be the right kit.]

Parking mode does not work for this model anyway. To hardwire, you can get any quality micro USB kit and plug it either into the GPS base or the camera itself. Once the manufacturer fixes the parking mode, you would have to use special manufacturer supplied kit and plug it into the camera.

Thanks. In the end I sifted around a bit and it seems there may be issues with this model so I ordered a 0805 mini instead.

Parking mode setting resets every time the camera is turned off. Manufacturer's parking kit is just a 12/24V to 5V convertor with discharge protection and micro USB connector wired in a way for mini 0903 to know when engine is off. You can find details in this forum.
