I have a dashcam from 2017 (Vikcam V-168). Officially, it can only use 32 GB memory cards, but if I format a 512 GB memory card with FAT32, then a 512 GB memory card also works without any problems.
Well I bought a Viofo A119 V3. The camera makes good videos, but I cannot use a FAT 32 formatted 512 GB memory card. Maximum only 256 GB. This is a problem for me.
Is there a way to solve the problem with a firmware update?

You can format the card with the guiformat2 utility or by means of the DVR itself

thank you for the answer, but it doesn't work. I tried it with guiformat2 utility. Tested different clusters. Also formatted in the dashcam.
All firmware installed V1.02; V1.03; V2.0; V2.1; V2.3; V2.4 and V2.5.
Two SD-Cards tested.
Samsung microSDXC EVO Plus (2020) 512GB
SanDisk Extreme PLUS Micro-SDXC 512 GB

Does anyone have another idea?

The size of the cluster did not twist, I stupidly changed the size of the partition to 256Gb and it all worked. Thanks!

PS: By the method of mathematical typing, it turned out that the maximum partition size understood by the DVR is 275Gb. Doesn't work at 280Gb anymore.
