Hi, first post.

I'm awaiting my Dmyco 10" 2.5k mirror dashcam. I figure for 50 bucks I'd give it a try.
Naturally there's little documentation, and my expectations are low.

It has a parking mode based on the g sensor. It has a battery that's good for a half minute, supposedly.
I'm thinking it goes into standby, wakes up if there's a shock, and takes some video.

Do you think standby will consume a lot of 'juice"?
It has a battery that's supposedly good for a half minute or so, I believe.
I have no idea how parking mode is activated, or deactivated for that matter, other than pressing a menu button-I don't think there are any extra wire connections for sensing this.

I ordered a hardwire kit that has low voltage protection, so I'm thinking of plugging it into an always on circuit.

Any tips? Thanks.

I ordered a usb multimeter, just because.
It'll be interesting to see how the parking mode (standby/g sensor) works on this thing.
By the time the thing fully fires up it'd probably be too late to pick up anything meaningful.
Parking mode would probably have to be deactivated manually, I imagine.
