Hi there,

Was hoping if someone could help educate me about using a home power inverter to charge a cellink Neo and battery expansion.

I’ve seen online that blackboxmycar sell an inverter (6amp) and recommend charging using the 5amp cigarette mode.

I’m wondering if it would be safe to purchase a 10amp rated inverter and charge at home using the 9amp(high) setting?

Thanks!

That would make sense, but you would need the correct voltage. I assume 13.8 volts would be good, if you are only going for 12 volts then an extra amp or two might be required, you can't have too many amps.

Probably better for the battery to change it at 5 amps, so unless you are in a hurry at home I would go for the 5 amp charge.
