only the SGZC12SS, SGZ12SG, SGZC12SCPRO and SCGZC12RC were 12V, all other models are 5V, you should also be using the supplied power adapter anyway

It uses a 5V mini USB power input but you shouldn't use any old generic mini USB power supply. Are you planning on using a non-Street Guardian power supply? Also, you can only activate parking mode if you use the SGX2HW 3-wire power supply.

got a new car, was able to remove the device and GPS module.

Dont remember how I had it powered and was looking for the specs.665GC I thinkmis the right model.

If you have the SGGCX2PRO The correct power supply is 1 of 2

SG9CCM

(2-wire connected to your cigarette port).

Note You can use this same one to hardwire to a switched accessory circuit if you don’t wanna use a cigarette plug plug. (So it powers ok and off with your engine).

If you have the SG9665GC you can’t use parking mode
