Power through USB?

Hi, Just thinking about options for a potential Dashcam purchase and playing with ideas. Is someone able to tell me if the Mini3 is able to be powered through the USB socket instead of the 3.55 socket in the standard mount? If so then it should be pretty simple to 3D print an alternative mount which attaches to a suction mount if needed for a hire vehicle etc.

Yes, the camera itself also has a micro USB port for power & data.
