Hello, I have a viofo a 129 plus duo camera, I have been using it for over a year and for over a year there was no problem with the samsung evo 256 card.
A few weeks ago I did a software update and at the moment I have the version:
- A129Plus: v1.6
- Build: 20220124
- Rear: V1.7_20210416

Since then I've started having problems with recording - after some time (I suspect it happens when the card gets full) I've noticed that the camera starts recording and after about 11-12 seconds it crashes, the NO GPS message appears, the camera reacts worse to the buttons. I thought it was the card. I bought a new card Samsung PRO Endurance 256 (edition 2022, white card, blue inscriptions) and in the first days everything was ok, but again after a few days the same problem as with the previous card. Formatting the card does not help.
The camera works fine with the old San disk 64 gb card. The problem is that I want to have a 256 card in the camera. Does anyone of you have a camcorder with a software version like mine and use a 256 card that works correctly?

After updating the firmware, be sure to manually default the cameras settings though the menu, then press and hold the hard reset button on the side of the camera for about 5 seconds.

Today I did a reset to factory settings again, then a reset with the button on the side of the camera and sd card format and still the same problem.

Where did you get build 20220124? I'm seeing 20220117 or 20220115 (depending on your camera) as the latest firmware on the Viofo site.

I bought Samsung Pro Endurance 256GB few days ago and it works without any issues.

My firmware is:
A129Plus: V1.8
Build2: 20220706
Rear: V1.7_20210416
