Problem with sd card

My sd card has started giving me an
SD card error
Please format SD card.

Formatting in the nextbase duo gives me the error message
Format failed
Please try another micro sd card.

The micro card works fine in my phone and pc. I could view all of the files.
I formatted in my phone and put it back in the duo.
The card was recognised for about 10 mins and then I get the error message back.

I have another duo in my other car and if I swap the cards both work fine in the other.

Any ideas?

Lexar high endurance 64gb class 10 xc1.
It's worked fine for about 12 months.

current Lexar cards are not a good choice, they sold the brand a few years ago to a Chinese memory manufacturer, quality has gone downhill since

Surely though that would show as a failed card in all hardware.
Why would it work in my phone, pc and other duo?

phone and PC aren't good indicators, very average cards can still work fine, at 12 months it could just be getting to the end of its workable life in a dashcam, try it in the other camera longer term and it may start to do the same

you may have something else going on but memory cards and power supplies are the two most common causes of problems, if it is time for another card suggest not going with Lexar

you can also format the card and run a test with h2testw and see what sort of results you get
