Please tell me, am I correct in understanding that in this model (unlike the E1 Pro), the processor is designed to encode 4K video in two streams (from two cameras)? And if so, using only one camera should result in lower processor heat, since it will be encoding only one video stream?

If only one camera is in use, the processor will be encoding just a single video stream, which significantly reduces the processing load and therefore lowers power consumption and heat generation compared to running two streams simultaneously.

We’re sorry that we are unable to disclose the exact processor models. Both the single-channel 4K and dual-channel 4K use high-performance dual-core processors, but their performance differs. The main chip in the dual-channel 4K does not simply have twice the processing power of the single-channel 4K; instead, the front and rear streams are processed independently by two separate chips.

Single-channel 4K (one main chip):
dual-core high-performance 4K processor

Dual-channel 4K (front chip + rear chip):
Front: upgraded dual-core high-performance 4K processor
Rear: dual-core high-performance 4K processor
