Pruveeo F5 Dissapointment

first off great to find this forum and look forward to reading through it.
Just installed the Pruveeo F5 after great reviews on Amazon but its picture quality is dreadful. Worse than a three year old cheapy off eBay for a tenner. Even tried the upgraded 1080p firmware.
Pity as the wifi is good and it's very discreet to install. Especially like the power plug it the top. Why do some have it on the side.?
Off to do some reading now and boxing up.

Dont even look at reviews on Amazon or Ebay, best thing are ask and search in here, and maybe in a pinch youtube for reviews, at least there you can see at once if it is a camera with potential.

The same housing are used by a range of makers, these are what we nerds refer to as wedge cameras due to their wedge design.
There are other cameras looking much the same as there are after all only so much you can do to change a wedge shape.
