Question on Focus/ Detail Quality

Just installed 900s 2ch. I'm not sure if I was expecting too much but it seems the camera has a hard time picking up detail. I have checked all the settings:

Recording Settings
-Extreme Recording mode
-Transfer file via H.265 over direct wifi.
-All other settings are factory.

Questions
-Is there an option to switch bitrate that I am missing? Could I have it on a lower setting?
-The card included is a 16GB U1 Blackvue card. Other sub threads seem to indicate I need a U3 for faster write speed?
-Is it possible the focus is just off?
-I am using the blackvue viewer for windows. Could it be that my PC is just too slow/ compression? I tried two different computers however I'll say neither were "brand new"

Install was really easy (including power magic pro), over all the camera works as I expected but the quality on videos from sellers seems much better than what I am seeing. On the linked pictures you can't make out any plate numbers or read what is on the side of the bus.

Thanks in advance for any help! First post however I did plenty of research on DCT prior to buying.

Is it out of focus all the time or does it progressively goes out of focus?

Doesn't necessarily look out of focus to me. The bus and car on the other carriageway are moving, so it's movement blur . But there are a lot of compression artefacts, especially in the trees/grass.
like jokiin said, post some pics in decent lighting.

Thanks for the quick responses. I included a front and rear picture below from today just before noon. I did buy a new larger card as the included 16GB card didn't record enough time.

The pictures below were off of a 128GB Sandisk Micro SDXC Extreme Pro 4K Card. From reading other threads, I need an "Endurance" class card. I will get one soon, but this one works for now and it did seem to get rid of some of the smudging. Don't know if that is the faster write speed or just the better lighting??

The smudging was likely due to sub optimal lighting and video compression artefacts on the large green areas in the scene.
You will see no difference in PQ with the 'Endurance' card, but it will likely last quite a bit longer before it fails.
There is a long thread somewhere here discussing the merits of Endurance v 'normal' cards
