Hi all. I just installed a DDPai M6+ in my car. I have used a hardwire kit that I got off Amazon and piggy backed a fuse (the one for the cig lighter) using a fuse tap for power, with the earth connected to the chassis. The power cable is routed around the windscreen etc.

It's a great camera, but i am now suffering bad FM radio interference/static. Has anyone else had this, and is there anything I can do?

The reason is camera itself or power adapter. The only way to fix it is: changing position. So you have to do:
1) determine what made interferece FM radio. You can change position of camera/power adapter and easy find out.
2) Find another location for camera/power adapter after you know it made interferece.

Here's a couple related threads which might help you solve this:

I recall seeing threads about GPS interference too but I don't have those bookmarked. You could do a search for those since all this is essentially the same thing: Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) so all the causes and solutions are somewhat interchangeable.

My Power adaptor seriously affected FM and DAB reception - swapped for a more expensive version - all fine now.

I can't recall - I'll check and get back.
