The color and black levels definitely look good on the X2, but the normal 2 seems to have better dynamic range despite the purple haze. The two pedestrians in the parking lot were barely visible black bobs that merged into the background on the X2 while the normal 2 showed them clearly. Also you can see more of the cars and signs off to the sides on the normal 2. Under the lights of the parking garage, both look almost identical, but license plates were more easily read when illuminated by headlights on the normal 2. Even though the X2 has better color accuracy and no purple haze, if this is the final release candidate firmware, then I'd be more inclined to go with the straight Pano 2 for better night time details. Any plans to make a daylight comparison video?

They'd probably look more similar if the 2 was running 1.12.06 as that made the normal Panorama look very similar to this - I'm actually intrigued to see how they stack up then as they should be very similar indeed.

Pano2 - better at night, but unnatural color
Pano X2 - worse at night, but natural color

Pano2 - better at night, but unnatural color
Pano X2 - worse at night, but natural color

It's a trade off it seems, I'd like to see a user selectable option in the gui menu.

NIGHT (Natural ) <~default
NIGHT (Enhanced)

This is not an option.
To do natural color and good night shooting
Why for example Transcend DrivePro 200 natural color and good night video?
need to find the cause

Good afternoon. Thanks Nico, a good video review. Personally, I like the video more of Panorama 2 - as always on top !!!
1 angle,
2 night video.

Pano2 - better at night [emoji106]

The IMX322 is technically superior so as they get used to working with the new sensor it should start to surpass what we see on the older Panoramas with the IMX122 :)
