Hi,

I just bought a Mini 0906 for my wife, installed the front pretty easily on her Prius 2008. Will have to install the rear camera soon, my question is about the location to mount. I am thinking it has to be the far back near where the backup camera is, since the top part of the hatchback seems pretty slanted.

Also, I plan to get one for my own, which is a 2014 Highlander. Again the question is where to mount the rear camera. The back door opens but there is also the rear window that can be separately opened. I haven't tried but may be a bit tricky to mount it on the rear window. Wondering if anyone has similar situation here could give me some advice.

Thank you!

I like to install the 0906 in my Prius 3 on the weekend.
Its should be similar to your P2 because of the same hatchback design.
Maybe I can send you some photots if its done.

I ended up mounting the rear cam close to the backup cam on the Prius, that gives much better view.

Sorry for late replay, Im done with mountig the back camera yesterday.
I install it inside on the top of the trunklid. Im in the office right now, will post a picture today or late tmrw.
Maybe I will change the location, but for me its looks enough for the moment.

Here the sample:

Not adjust at the moment, but looks good to me or "enough"

Okay, maybe you can make a picture of the location? ;)

first image is from the top mounting location, and then the 2nd image is the location I use now. Third image shows the camera from outside, and last image from the inside shooting sideway. Gonna replace the duck tape with black tape... :)

But looks bright enough!
