Got my 522 and rear window camera arrive today, What is everyone running their cam at with the rear window cam?
I've got the front at 1440p and rear at 720p, but the rear cam footage isn't as good at 720p as the rear view camera add on module is at 720p. How does everyone else find it? And what do you run yours on?

I'm sure I set mine to 1080/60 and 720/30.
I did run it at 1080/30, 1080/30 for a bit tho.

Which did you find best? Have you got any footage from yours of the rear camera? I read 60fps is good for day but not as good at night?

Anyone come across this when setting Alexa up? When trying to enable the Nextbase skill, I pop my serial number in then it comes up with this rubbish and won't go no further?

No, don't have any footage on the pc, sorry.
And I checked my car earlier, it's 1080p/1080p I have it set to. it must have been set the other way earlier...its been a few weeks since I've driven, and taken time to look at the camera, it just works. !
I just get in the car, bluetooth connects, bluetooth then connects to the camera, and then I hear the Alexa "ping".

As to setting up the skills, I did that through the Alexa phone app, by searching for Nextbase in the skills section of the app.
You can actually do it on your pc, log in to your amazon account, and either search google for "amazon skills" and open the page and type nextbase, and search, and activate it, or just type it in the search on Amazon.
Then set up Alexa on your phone, but those 2 screens, never had them, setting Alexa up was piss easy, to be honest.

I do like the English on the first photo tho, "Please your Dashcam's serial number to continue", please it, please it with what...haha!

Yep I've tried setting up through searching the Nextbase skill on the Alexa mobile app and apparently it is enabled but when I click on "Link account" it just takes me to the same as the pics I linked in the above post. Didn't realise it would be this much of a faff to do.

And the "Please your Dashcam seiral number to continue" made me lol

I used this instruction .pdf to set mine up, as it seemed to get stuck in a loop on my phone, with the amazon app signing in.
Then I realised that the Amazon app had been updated and the old one discontinued.
Once I had the right updated app, it went easily enough.

Cheers for that, I just tried following those instructions to a tee, and just ended up in the same position as before. And by the comments on the Nextbase skill it seems a few people recently are having the same problem..

never go under 1080p, 720 are so last decade.

I agree, it's a shame Nextbase didn't make the 522 so it can record in 1440p up front and 1080p at back.
Having said that the rear view cam attachment I had on my 322 was very good quality for 720p. Could clearly read plates.

Which windscreen attachment do you use on yours? The suction cup one or the sticky 3M one?

Got Alexa working btw, it seems to be a fault with Samsung phones when linking the Nextbase Alexa skill to your Amazon and Nextbase account by using the default Samsung internet browser, James from Nextbase was very helpful and efficient at sorting the problem and gave me instructions to follow, basically Chrome needed to be default browser for it to work and it worked first time using Chrome and linked up. Alexa works spot on does all commands I ask, better than I thought it would. Great little feature and top marks Nextbase for their swift help in helping me sort the Alexa linking problem.

I use the suction cup one for the front, and obviously the 3m one for the rear

Yeah the 3M jobs don't half stick well. Here's my rear view quite happy with it, the heater lines aren't as noticeable as I thought they would be.
