Rear camera picks up sound. Front camera does not.

My rear camera picks up sound. My front camera does not. All settings seem OK. Sound light indicator on front camera is on. Little green microphone is lit up. No obvious obstructions. Any ideas?
 
My guess is that your video player is not playing the front video files correctly, try a different device to play the files, and if that solves the issue then update your codecs on the device that doesn't.
 
There is no mic on the rear camera, so it can pick up sound.
