Rear camera stopped working

Hi,

My rear camera appears to have stopped working.

All installed by Halfords a week or so ago so can obviously take it back there, however is there any basic reason why it should have failed?

I can't see it at all on the main dashcam screen and when i checked the recordings there are only a hi and lo - nothing rear. There were, but they stopped.

Is there any basic settings that I might have turned off? I can't see anything, but worth checking.

I did think the cable might not have been secure - but all seems just fine. I'll re-check tomorrow once the weather has improved.

Press the reset button underneath the front camera and see if the rear camera position option displays

If you have removed the rear cable at any point since installing the camera check that it is firmly home in the camera. I have noticed that if the rubber cover for the USB connection is not pushed completely out of the way it can prevent the lead from making a full connection.
