- SG9665GC, Mini 0806 running off a Lukas 290 hardwire
Hi,
I have a Mini 0806 mounted at the rear and I'm intending on replacing it with a SG9665GC. (Already have a front SG9665GC)
My issue is how to attach the camera mount to the top trim of my rear door hatch.
3M sticky pads don't stick to the trim, it seems the material is some kind of non-porous plastic that won't hold the 3M pads.
I had to use sticky tape and cable ties wrapped around the Mini's GSP mount to hold it in place. (see attached images)
The Mini mount allows the cable ties wrapping but the SG9665GC doesn't have the same set-up.
I don't want to mount the camera directly to the glass as it's aftermarket tinted, I'm worried that the weight of the camera and the movement from opening/closing the hatch door may peel the tint.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
