Hello all,
Just found this forum and hopefully the experts here can guide me to a solution I'm looking for.

I'm planning to create a stealth car DVR solution for my Audi with both the LCD and front camera integrated into the stock auto dimming/compass rearview mirror (Gentex) with the DVR itself being placed elsewhere within the vehicle and also (if possible) controlled with some of the currently unused stock buttons on the dash. I've done stealth radar/mirror integrations and i'm pretty comfortable with modifying the rearview with the LCD and the cam as well as all the associated electrical and electronics work, what i'm struggling with is finding the appropriate components as i'm just now nearly enough familiar with the what's available out there and where to look outside of ebay or amazon.

So, here's what I already have and what I've been looking for.

1. LCD screen
Purchased this 3.5 inch screen from Amazon. It should work nicely.

2. Cameras
I've been looking but all I can see are not a very good quality backup cameras with integrated distance lines. Like this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/B005CTKYB4What I need is a same form factor solution, but a normal cam, with no distance lines, HD quality and would be very nice if it would be night vision and wide angle.

3. DVR
This is the only thing I've been able to find on Aliexpress. This unit does have what I need - 2 channel, motion detection, G-sensor, cycle recording but i'm not sure about the quality, plus I would like a 1080p unit. Are there any other similar units out there for me to consider?

Essentially, what I would like to achieve is something very close to this. http://www.cargpsbluetooth.com/products.php?product=1080P-DVR-Rearview-Mirror-Monitor-(without-camera) Except with only LCD and the front cam being integrated into the mirror and the DVR being external and hidden. With my radar display being integrated as well, not having anything on the windshield will be great!

Thank you all in advance.
