Just had front and rear cams fitted and the reception on my radio has been badly affected. When I disconect the rear cam the radio reception is fine
Anyone else had/having this problem and any fixes

It's quite a common problem. You need to reroute the rear cam cable. Test it out over the trim in various positions before you bury it under the trim/headlining.

Years ago I put a second cam on the rear window that had an integrated antenna. That ended radio reception. Tried routing, filters and anything I found. Only solution was trashing the rear cam.

Wish I had better for you.

Hi there,

Do you have a ferrite core on the rear cam cable?

Yes got them on, it's better but still drops radio signal in places where it's always worked prior to fitting the rear window cam

I'd recommend moving the location of the Camera and the cabling and seeing where on your rear windscreen/in the car's lining is the best place, as these slight variations could make a significant difference.

Millie

I only used DAB, I've no idea how the antena/ heater are wired, I'm driving an Insignia grand sport
