Recorded emergency file

I know the recorded emergency file are unable to delete from the device.
So the sdcard can get full time to time? and need to clear/format the sdcard to let go the space?
There is no option to overwrite this emergency files after quite sometime?

If you do "Format Card" inside dashcam it will delete everything.
