Recording - Car Speed too high...

Just been sent two replacement cameras from China(long story)....just checked the recordings on my computer and the car speed seems to be about 20 mph too fast....Im doing say 40mph but when I watch the video it says Im doing 60mph.....not good if I have to use the video after an accident...

I suspect you now have mini 0805 cameras?

There is/has been a bug with the 0805 speed - see it's section.

Are the cameras are definitely 0803's? Sounds like it is using km/h (mph * 1.6) - I had the same problem on my 0805 (which was sold as an 0803) until I updated the firmware.

It seems eprance have sent me 0805 replacements.....?......its just a shame they don't work!

Update the firmware and all will be good. I ordered an 0803 and got the 0805 with the speed issue (see my thread in 0805) updated and now its fine.

The other problem I have it is set to record 5 minute segments.......but it can record anything from a few seconds to about 3 minutes 30 seconds and it will turn it self off....
