This is basic review of the RedTiger F77 Dual 4K 128gb-eMMC dashcam. I won this camera after entering a contest sponsored by RedTiger on the Mustang6g forum. A condition of acceptance of the camera was to provide a review.
A little background first. I bought my first dashcam around 2014 - A Blackvue DR650GW 2-channel. Was a good camera but expensive at the time. Prices have come down significantly since then. It lasted about 3yrs till one day it just stopped working. I then repurposed a Samsung Galaxy S10e as a front view only solution, which served me well for a couple of years. I watch alot of YouTube videos featuring crashes and bad drivers and other things captured on dashcams. I noticed a lot of RedTiger F7N cameras being used, so I did a little research on it and found it be a fairly well received dashcam. The price on Amazon was 169.99 CAD which I thought was quite reasonable for a 2-channel dashcam. Used it for just over a year with no issues or complaints. I was happy with quality of the recordings and ease of use. Then I entered a dashcam contest and won the F77. It is a nice camera, easy to use, but a little slow when downloading to a computer( around 18mbs/s). Like I say in the video you can set it to download and then go make your dinner, or do your laundry, or watch videos on YouTube. You don't have sit there watching paint dry so to speak. Overall I would recommend this F77 as well as the F7N to anyone looking to buy a reasonably priced, well made dashcam.
