How come the GC still costs more, isn't the X2 an upgrade?

Was thinking more on the lines of the GC getting a price cut (compared to the upgrade).

This is technology advance for you. You get more for less at each generation.
It does not make the "old" cheaper to manufacture.

Donations are always welcome.

the current stock we have still cost us what it did so hard to reduce the price and keep it feasible, we will be able to make some further production of the V3 that will be a little cheaper but that will only be available under our other brand

Going by that logic; GC's currently 3rd gen, so to speak.

So the GC goes to GuardTrak and X2 takes its place in the SG line-up, or will it eventually be phased out?
