Remote control takes pictures only but does not lock the current file being recorded

Hi,

I am trying to use the remote control but my A129 Plus Duo will ONLY take pictures.....
It makes a shutter sound and takes a picture everytime I press on it.

How can I lock the current file being recorded with the remote control ?

Have you tried pressing twice or a long press?

Usually, just one short press can save both the picture and the video.

Did you check the video file in the dashcam?
Stop recording firstly, and then short press the emergency button on the dashcam to check the video file. The latest video is at the bottom right corner in the video file.
