Replacement lenses for Git2

Hi

Im looking to replace the 170 lens in the Git2 to something better quality (sharper, less distortion) and narrower FV, maybe 120 deg.

When looking for lenses, is the mount type used called M12XP0.5?

Does anyone know of a good, sharp, low distortion third party lens that fits the Git2, other than the ones listed on their webpage?

Yes that's the thread, M12 fine thread. the 0.5 mm is the pitch of the thread, your normal M12 bolt / nut will have a pitch of 1.75 mm.

Shopping online for third party lenses can be somewhat of a headache, one thing to look out for are the back focal length, if this dont match properly then the new lens might not screw that far into the camera, and so it can be problematic to get a good firm grip and optical alignment in relation to the sensor.
And off course you will also have to keep a eye out for the pixel count the lens are made for, there are a lot of lenses for lesser pixel count lenses, so using a lens made for 2-3 mpix might not be good for a XX megapixel sensor like in the git 2

With 120 degrees ( horizontal ) i think there will still be some distortion.

Hi,
I'm currently on a look for for my lens replacement. Looking for 170deg as the original one.

After I get to shipping page , on gitup.com it says "Singapore Post".
Is here any reseller/distributor that's in EU?
Span page is out of stock. On Czech version I can't find them

On amazon.de I dind't find anything.

Any help? Thanks
