More than I can review. ;)
Review: Discovery Adventures DC200 - 1296p A7 Car Dvr DashCam - White
This dashcam was sent for review.
Thank you @ieGeek.

Manufacturer's website: http://www.worldsdiscovery.com/proinfo_106_95_0.html

It's available for purchase here at Discovery's Amazon store: https://www.amazon.com/gp/B010DB4GCIand in eBay as well: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171853822021
The product box and the camera has discovery channel's logo.
I'm told that the Discovery Adventures Series has a relationship with "Discovery Channel".

Summary:

Will update after tests.

Detail Review:
This camera is based on Ambarella A7 and OV4689 sensor and can record videos at 1296p or at 2560x1080p @ 30fps so video quality must be very good looking at other dashcams using same chip/sensor.
This is my first white camera so it's not discrete at all unless you have white interior with white rear view mirror.
Those who love Apple/iPhones have to have this. ;)

From left to right: Papago GoSafe 200, Discovery DC200 and Dome G90 7S.

Build quality is excellent and feels very solid.
Size is similar to g1wx dash cams.

Unboxing video:

The product box is so far the prettiest and also packed very good inside:

Package contents:
  1. Discovery DC200 Dashcam.
  2. Suction cup mount with ball joint (similar to G1Wx mount).
  3. White mini USB car charger.
  4. mini USB to USB cable.
  5. Warranty card.
  6. Inspection card.
  7. Product manual.

Here's official picture of the package contents:

Buttons and Features:
The buttons are on the sides of 2.7" LCD screen on the back.

Top has mini USB charging port, mount, GPS in (optional) and AV out ports:
dsc02842-papago-gosafe-gs200-us-discovery-dc200-dome-g90-jpg.16466

Bottom has mic, speaker and reset:
dsc02840-papago-gosafe-gs200-us-discovery-dc200-dome-g90-jpg.16467

Left side from back has mini HDMI out:
dsc02841-papago-gosafe-gs200-us-discovery-dc200-dome-g90-jpg.16468

Right side from back has micro SD slot:
dsc02843-papago-gosafe-gs200-us-discovery-dc200-dome-g90-jpg.16469

Folders and Files:
Folders are similar as in other A7 based cameras (EVENT and NORMAL) and file names have date time so easy to locate video clips.
Discovery DC200 Folder Files.jpg

File size and VBR
:
3 minute video clip is around 400mb in size.
Bit rate is similar to other dashcams with A7.

Overall bit rate : 18.6 Mbps
Video
bit rate : 18.0 Mbps
Audio Bit rate : 64.0 Kbps
Nominal bit rate : 128 Kbps

One nice thing:

This dashcam checks date time and pops up a message to set it correctly.

Current Firmware Version: DISCOVERY-DC200 20150501
The FW uses 20mb space.

Wooh!!

Amazing!! But it has not GPS function. Anyway, it looks great!

Thanks Sunny!

Hi Sunny, thanks for the professional review!

I wonder if the Discovery Channel know about this relationship
Hi jokiin, yes, you could check (contact discovery channel or anytek).

there's a whole lot of stuff on Amazon under this same Discovery brand that has nothing to do with Discovery Channel, not knocking the product but I see these agreements that happen for certain markets and not be applicable to other markets

It does have a GPS port so I will try plugging a gps module from another camera to see if it works.
@ieGeek, does it work with any module?
Also, do you have your own viewer program like registrator viewer to play and view gps information?

Hi, the current GPS port is reserved, we will release the updated version later so it will have GPS function then, thanks !

Night videos are very good:

If you like the form factor it may be a pretty good camera.

They need to produce it in colors other than bright white so it's not as obvious - maybe 'hot pink', 'fluorescent orange', 'screaming yellow', etc. :D

Is there anything else you would like grizzle about............ I personally like the pictures and operation as it is now.

I said 'If you like the form factor...' it's a good camera, image quality is fine. I personally do not like the 'brick on a stick' cameras hence the qualification. The rest of the comment was a 'tongue in cheek' reference to the color choice being less than discrete - therefore the 'smiley' at the end.

:D = Smiley = Joke

I almost want one in that color so it matches some of the shirts I wear. I do like the mount though. It seems like a regular T Slot style mount, and most of you know what that means. (Hack time)

One color I really would like is cream/gray that to match rearview mirror color of so called luxury cars.
Basically, option to match interior color.
Contrasting color is easy to spot from outside but similar colors are go unnoticed even if the object is big.

Yeah now that I think about it I think my Subaru mirror is more gray, but I can't recall off hand.

Also extra points for snapping a red C5 Corvette. (Same motor as my Camaro LS1)
