Description:
LK-150 is a external rear-view camera for Lukas dash cameras, designed to be resistant to water and dust.
A Type works with Lukas LK-7950, LK-9150, LK-9350,LK-9550, & LK-9750.
B Type works with Lukas LK-9370 & LK-9390

Possibly a silly question but you do realise this is weatherproof and supposed to be fitted on the outside of the vehicle for best quality?

Yes, but it didn't come with hardware needed for external mount.
I could just stick it but won't be secure.
My intention was to use it as reverse cam but only works with lk-9370 that takes almost 1/2 minute to start.
Who can wait that long to drive?
Doesn't work with lk-9390 that starts in few seconds.
I'll test more and if I can get it working with 9390, I'll mount it by the license plate.

I am still waiting to hear from Lukas about it not working with the 9390. The b type was suppose to work with 9390.
It might just be that I have the a and b types mixed up.
But I don't have a a-type at my office to check.

Korea like China is currently on a national holiday. So it's going to take a few days to find out from Lukas if the 9390 non compatibility is because of a mix up in the a/b types or if it's something else.

Could be but isn't B type supposed to work with both 9370 and 9370 and A type with 7x50 models?
This one works with one but not the other mentioned.

2015 seems to be the year of external dash cameras, and with that Lukas has released a new external rear camera. Introducing the LK-150.

Two types, A and B type.
A type works with models LK-9X50
B type works with models LK-9370 & LK-9390

Ok update.
I made a mistake in listing the LK-150 B as working with both the LK-9370 & LK-9390.
The LK-150 B only works with the LK-9370. This was my mistake.
Luckily, there has been no orders for the LK-150B type yet, so no customers have been impacted.
All listings have now been updated.

Did we try try in real life to verify that the external camera does not work with 9390? Listing says only with 9370. However, they are from the same family cameras, in my opinion; is it possible that Lukas forgot to mention that the external camera works with both?

Hey bg101,

This is my fault.
There was a communication mix up initially, and I had listed that the LK-9390 was supported.
Currently it is not supported with either A or B type.
All material has since been updated, and luckily no customers were effected.
I am still waiting to hear if the LK-9390 will support the LK-150 in the future.

Yeah, I got that. What I am asking did anyone actually connected external camera to 9390 and got no picture, errors? Did you have both items in person to try to connect them?

Yes, I have personally verified that both the A & B type do not work with the LK-9390.
I am guessing this is because the LK-9390 is the only Lukas camera to use the Amberalla chipset.

THANKS. That clarifies the situation. I bought 9390, need external, due to the fact I am installing in a Cargo Van, no rear glass window. I overlooked that 9390 is NO GO for external. So, I guess my options are, sell 9390 buy 9370, or install the rear camera it came with in empty rear camera housing off ebay. Man...expensive mistake.

On a side note I find ADAS useless, that's why I bough it over 9370
