More than I can review. ;)
Thank you @GearBest for providing M9S Dual 1080p Dashcam for review.
It is available at Gearbest here: *****************************************
PROS: Dual 1080p cameras. Rear camera video quality is very good.
LDWS, FCWS work good. The warning chime is very loud volume.
FCWS has a red cross in the center of LCD that tracks vehicles in the front.
LDWS has a green cross on the side that tracks lane markings.
These warnings work even when the LCD screen goes off, unlike Lukas that only works when LCD is on.
CONS: Night video is average quality, audio recording is at very low volume.
FCWS is little over sensitive.
Gun Metal housing and big size is very noticeable.

Description & Features:
The M9S is based upon Novatek 96663.
It has front and rear cameras, both 1080p.
The rear camera is designed to be mounted externally by the license plate.
[Note: I used it inside on the back window as installing outside needs a lot of work.]
3.0" LCD screen is pretty big and can show rear camera easily.
It displays backup lines as well when only rear camera is displayed.
LCD has option to display front camera only, both cameras and rear camera only.
Rear camera needs its own power.

Normal videos are saved under Movie folder and pictures are saved under Photo folder.
Triggered files are in EMR and RO sub-folders.

I wonder which sensor is used? I can't find that info on the sales page. Nice to see a decent rear cam; much better there than the CF100 with it's 720P :D And the price was a pleasant surprise; I expected to see about 50% higher. I think the low price will gain this one some success but "brick on a stick" is sadly too true for the front unit- that thing is huge

Thanks for the review!
Phil

Not sure about the sensor. All it says is CMOS.
Yes, the rear video quality is very good. I think it's even better than the front or maybe my rear window is cleaner than the front. ;)
It got warm but video didn't seem to go OOF but it's winter so can't say how it'll do in hot summer.
Here are few rear camera videos:

FCWS warning continuously on when driving on highway. It's too sensitive.

M9S front camera videos: If you hear beeps, it's FCWS. If you hear jingles, it's LDWS.
1080p:

720p:

M9S Night videos: 1080p. Night video is not that great but enough to see what goes on.

Thanks for review mate, was wondering if there were any improvements due to the chipset. This is first time I've seen the 96663

basically the same capability as 96660 but can do 2 channel also
Thanks for this mate. Anyone know if there's anything newer or any 4K capable stuff around / coming soon?
