More than I can review. ;)
Thank you @GearBest for providing Mini 0807 dashcam for review.
It's available for purchase at Gearbest site: *****************************************
Summary: will be updated after tests.
*****************************************
Detail Review:
Description & Features: Mini 0807 is based on Ambarella A7LA50 chipset and SONY IMX322 Sensor.
Supports up to 128 GB microSD card.
It has two microSD slots so total storage can be 256 GB.
Resolution only has up to 1080p in the specs.
Screen size: 1.5inch
GPS is built in the mount.
Super Capacitor.
Support ADAS (LDWS, FCW, FCMD).
Also comes with OBD II cable as well as regular car charger.
When OBD II is in use, it's supposed to go to parking mode when car is off.

Storage card preparation
The camera supports dual micro SD cards, 2 * 128GB maximum.
The files can be stored in card A or card B. The user can insert one micro SD card into the camera or two micro SD cards into camera at the same time, providing more space to store videos, images or other files. Please use high-speed micro SD card meeting the specification of TFHC. (Class 6 is ideal .Class10 may cause some problem because the speed of card is too fast, it is better not use Class10 card)

Copy function for backup video
Video clips can be copied manually between card A and card B, then you will have backup after you need to hand over one card to police or the court.
1. Please choose card in Playback.
2. When camera is in standby, long press DOWN button to enter video playback or photos playback. Then long press UP button to enter playback sub-menu, you can see COPY FILE TO ANOTHER CARD, options are YES/NO.
3. If you press OK button to choose YES, the OKed video or photo will be copied from this card to another card.
4. Please note the user can copy only one video or one photo to another card each time, not all the files.

Choose MicroSD Card
Here you can choose the card which you want to store the videos and photos on.
Options: Auto / CARD A / CARD B
If there is only one card in camera body, this card will store videos and photos by default.
If there are two cards in camera body,
1. Here choose Auto, loop recording between card A and card B. Please make sure you do not set Recycle of Menu to OFF, otherwise once the recording card is full, the other card will not start to record.
2. If CARD A or CARD B is chosen, only CARD A or CARD B will store videos and photos, there will be no loop recording between two cards.
There is another choice in card sub-menu in playback, not the same as here.

Mini 0807 Menu Settings: This camera has scroll wheel on the side instead of the regular buttons seen in other dashcams.
The big button on the back is for locking emergency files.
Menu is accessed by long pressing the scroll wheel upwards.
Highest resolution is 1080p.

Here's video of menu settings:

DVR:
FW 20150525 V1.0
MCU:

Mini 0807 Folders and files:
Root has two folders and a text file.
DCIM: It has a sub folder called 100MEDIA that has all the video files.
Files have datetime (century is not there, only mmddhhmm) so easy to find a particular file.
Normal files have A attributes and Triggered files have RA attributes.
PLAYER: It has a video player called QtPlayer.
dat.txt: Video file information.

This post is after lens is focused... video is great but not as much detail so look grainy due to low VBR.
Still way way better than before, me likey ;)

After scraping the glue, it was very difficult to twist the lens.
I was afraid of ripping the base apart so left it under the Sun for few hours and it finally gave in.
Video is still grainy but focus is good.
May need to fine tune or it's just the quality of low VBR on ambarella.
Here's one before clip that's OOF:

The first clip below is same as above to show how good it is now, rest are random:

Here are few videos after lens is focused:

Now all we need is higher VBR as this low VBR is pretty grainy even in full sunlight.

Is it the mini name or just me that I always get one with issues.
This sample has pretty bad focus.

Here's mine...

The mic is very soft though...

Also comes with OBD II cable as well as regular car charger.
When OBD II is in use, it's supposed to go to parking mode when car is off.
I'm interested in how this works - the OBD II power pin is not switched with the ignition, it's always on, so how does the camera detect that the ignition has been switched off and automatically go into parking mode?
To answer my own question - is it measuring the voltage and if it's above 12V then it assumes that the engine must be running?

Not sure.
I'll try to test it but the unit I got is OOF so may not invest more time.

Hopefully, access to lens is easy to fix OOF when I get some time.

Audio is pretty good on mine.
Do you have daytime videos?
Hopefully, OOF issue is not widespread.

One thing, while it has more options on storage like copying files from one card to another, the recording process is same as before.
It only records on one card unless the drive is long enough to fill that card.
I have videos only on one card even though it's already been looping for a while.
2nd card is only used if 1st card is full in one single drive or if switched manually.

Hi @Sunny. Was planning to buy this 0807 from gearbest as hadiked the specs and the best mini with super cap and parking guard but ur OOF pics have really put me off.
Any idea if it is user repairable if it happens in other cams also and any other shortcomings u could find?
Thanks

You can refocus the lens.
Usually, lens has some glue on it that needs to be removed and then twist and test focus around 20 feet.
I haven't checked how easy is it to get to lens on the 0807 yet.

Thanks for the advice.
As a self confessed addicted Dashcam reviewer [emoji12] / expert, what do u feel barring the oof issue which might be an easy fix or a one off case, should this Dashcam be a good buy @ US$85, shipped. It certainly seems to tick all the right boxes on paper at least.
I am prepared to gamble on gearbest and the Chinese after sales service.
