I'm using battery and at times, there is a hiss in audio, specially when the vehicle is not moving but overall good audio.

It gets dark at that time as 1st day of autumn is today, but the video is darker than it is outside.
I have to up the exposure and test again.

Even EV at +2, it didn't make it any brighter, maybe a tad but nothing significant.

SJ7000 conclusion: Keeping price in mind, it's a good option for budget Wi-Fi action camera.
Pros:
Very affordable Wi-Fi action camera that does most of the things and has close video quality of expensive ones.
Waterproof housing works great and focus is great underwater.
Wi-Fi works great and has nice size LCD screen.
Daytime video is good.
Audio is good.
Comes with a lot of accessories like waterproof case, mounts, straps etc...

Cons:
My sample has slightly out of focus on right side. I watched other SJ7000 videos and they had good focus so my sample was not perfect so QC is not that great..
Night is very dark even with EV at +2.
Audio has hiss noise when the camera/vehicle is not moving but the hiss goes away when vehicle is in motion or when there is some audio.

I just bought the Sj7000 camera, everything seems to work fine, however when I turned on the Wifi there is a strange noise not sure how to describe it. It's not a hiss, it is highly noticeable when everything around me silents.
But when I turned off the Wifi, the strange sound vanish. Does someone have this problem also?. Is it part of the software or hardware problem? and should I asked for replacement?. Thanks.

That hiss is problem with many action cameras when there is no other audio.
If you check my videos, quite a few of them develop that noise when it's completely silent.
If there is another audio like music, road noise etc..., that hiss noise goes away. Weird!

Just cycle through the modes and you'll see the play mode.
What wifi app are you using on the phone?

I have recently purchased a sj7000 cam and it came with a 16gb micro sd card that works howecer i bought a 32gb card kingston brand class 10 to use in it for more storage.. However when i got to record with the 32gb micro sd card in i get the following message..

'Custer size wrong. Please format'


I dont know what to do, does anyone have any info??

There sould be a option in the camera menus to format the card, it is rare you can just pop a new memory card in somthing and have it work right avay.

Format in the camera using buttons to into menu or by wireless app, either way is good.
