I bet if you suck a fly into that intake fan the cam shuts down. :p

Yeah, I know, probably only Louvers, but why RED?

And why the gray 3M tape? It looks like a neon "Steal Me Please" sign hanging in the windshield :( A good review as always Sunny, but not a cam I could love at all- not even if it has exceptional videos and features which worked perfectly. The form-factor kills it.

I wonder if they could have stuffed all the good stuff in a 'c cell' battery type sized housing, end to end, without the 'style' stuff? Lose the shiny plastic, also.
Cooling is OK. Discrete, compact, and competent is good.

Yes, it's quite unique design.
Not for those who want to conceal dashcam.
Here are few more videos near the hills on snowy roads.
Snow on the trees:

It seems like the design is almost good. If the red part was black this design could be very good for hiding behind the black dots at the top of a windshield. It is almost a bullet shape cam. I am not sure who other than an aerospace engineer would want to display a miniature jet engine in their car windows.

The image quality looks good of the image, but the video quality looks like crap. Agree with everyone else black would havce been better.

There are a few more vids on YouTube for this item, under the brand name of Junsun Ho30.

A rattle can of matt black car paint sorts out the red "turbine" blades, which I suspect aren't even glued on, but clipped. Then you have something very compact and discreet, but not so small that it burns itself out in a year..... hopefully.

I don't understand the negative comments on video clarity. The Ambarella A12 is a top chipset. for the money it's an attractive spec. Where will you get better quality recordings for $120/£90?

I'm looking forward to Black Friday.......
