Problem:
Hardwire Lacks selectable Voltage. Appears Kit shuts off at a way too low 11.8Vs.

Wire Configuration on Hardwire Kit:

1
. Black = Ground
2. Red = Accessory
3. Yellow = Battery

Problem 2: Interior Camera Housing is Very Soft Plastic. Plastic Surrounding Lens Scratches way too easily.

Review and Limitations: - Mounting on my Mirror

Image Quality is VERY GOOD with this camera. I am impressed overall. Sadly, the limitations I experienced do not Capture to True Potential of this Camera. Wolfbox did agree that the Dashboard Mount Does need Redesigned due to stability. For me, this skewed my testing, since the Lidar Housing made using the Mirror Mounting Method less Ideal"

Immediate I encountered an issue that MAY or MAY NOT be an issue for other reviews. The Plastic Housing for the LIDAR on my Volvo obstructed the WolfBox G900 TriPro 3 Channel Mirror Camera FRONT CAMERA. I suspect this may be an issue with some newer vehicles:

My Front Windshield is cluttered with Cameras. Top Left, Middle, and Mid Right - Ignore Those. However, you can see the red outline where the Lidar Plastic Housing obstructs probably 20-25% of the camera's view when mounted on my Mirror.

Limitation: You can see with my vehicle the Limitations of Mounting the WolfBox G900 TriPro 3 Dashcam on my Mirror in this Video (No CPL)

Problem with Dashboard Mount: Because my Mirror and Lidar obstruct the view, I requested the Dashboard Mount, but the WolfBox G900 TriPro 3 is too heavy for their design. Front Camera Testing was Biased by these issues.

Result of Dashboard Mount Stability Issue - Video Bounces

It seems like there is some sort of protective film on it, doesn't it?

This is one of the issues with these types of cameras. For some it works great with little to no obstruction. For yours it's not ideal.

Yep exactly as you pointed out with the lidar housing, this dashcam is really null and void for most, if not all, vehicles newer than 2019/2020.

Waiting for their models they come out with next, as I did not quite like my time with this model in hindsight. APP while functional leaves a lot to be desired and their image processing could be improved. There are people still to this day bricking their dashcams when performing firmware updates too.

Again there are solutions, but it should be more obvious to the end user etc. Wolfbox / Redtiger to me seem very focussed on just taking something off the shelf and shoving it in their product with minimal work. That's certainly the impression I'm getting.

My vehicle is a 2015, but many modern vehicles moving forward, will face a similar issue. It's one limitation of using a Mirror Mounted Dashcam.

Wolfbox offers a Dash Mount, but the designed is flawed, leaving too much vibration to make utilization a viable alternative. Wolfbox stated they planned on redesigning the mount. I'll post some videos here after I return 9th of October that show how "stabilizing the mount" can make a huge difference.

However, I am on an older laptop I take with me to travel, and lack editing software, so I don't think getting things posted before then will happen.

The housing appears to be a soft and lower quality plastic. I've never seen the casing around a camera itself be so fragile. That area in the photo scratches very easily, and the issue was raised with Wolfbox. The front and rear camera don't appear to suffer the same fate.

This is one of the issues with these types of cameras. For some it works great with little to no obstruction. For yours it's not ideal.

Exactly. I told Wolfbox I would be honest here. I then requested the dashboard mount and its design as an alternative option proved incapable of handling the G900Tri Pro weight. Vibrations resulted in poor video quality per my videos above.
