What I am looking for is a rigid USB extension that would bring the rear camera over about 3 to 4 inches to the right of the dash cam. The problem is that when I plug in the rear camera to the dash cam, it is too close to get the best rearview and usually gets the driver in the frame. I hope that this issue and possible resolution is apparent. Instead of being directly attached to the dashcam, the rearview camera needs to be extended several inches to the right.

Which camera do you have? And how is the rear camera connected?

If it was a Viofo A139, the cabin camera is on a short cable, so you can always position it in the ideal place.

I have the 322GW Nextbase and the rear camera plugs directly into the dashcam. I need the camera to come out about two to three inches so that I am not in the frame. I can't seem to adjust the dashcam in such a way that the rearview is facing directly at the rear window. Any help would be appreciated.

That is close, but I don’t believe it would bring it out far enough. I could Daisy chain three male female connectors and that might bring it out far enough. I don’t believe that I saw three male/female adaptors in the bundle. I do appreciate your input. A telescoping adapter would be perfect.

Humm... Maybe try ebay https://www.ebay.ca/itm/143307639893 No idea how long is this one, they don't seem to mention dimensions. Maybe worth asking the seller. Or combine that one with this one https://www.ebay.ca/itm/143943872006No idea how strong the setup would be. I don't think a telescoping one exists. Since typically, when you are joining two cables you want the shortest adapter.
Good luck with the hunt.

Also, why not a flexible USB cable? This would give you more freedom to have it mounted in a better location. You can get ribbon USB cables that are very very thin.
