Sample pics from Xiaomi Yi Sports Camera

OK so I nipped to the park today with the family and gave the Xiaomi Yi camera a whirl - the picture quality is actually much better than I expected from such a small device.

I got a lot of video and pictures and it's been a pretty grey day today and so far so good! I've not tried the SJ range of cameras so can't compare to those.

You can create a folder on mega and share all folder. For example call it Yi and put there everything you want to be public. For a special video you can offer a link but for so many pictures is too much work.

Anybody experience so called shutter lag? I'm not really sure is this normal.

When you press the button ( normal photo mode without any self-timer function )
1. press shutter button
2. about 1-2 sec later, there is red light with beep sound.
The picture was captured somewhere "between" 1 and 2, not at exactly 1 or 2. So you can not predict exactly when the shot is captured.

Any fix? I'm with 1.0.7. original

Very annoying this, but I do not think its a lag or a bug. Since Xiaomi is more social network camera then action camera, I believe they did it on purpose for all those selfie taking crap..

Understandable that is for selfie purpose, but you have no idea when exactly the camera capture the image. At lease make it exactly at the beep sound makes more sense.

How is gopro like ( haven't seriously play with GP before), Are we able to do custom firmware fix?
