Samsung 4TB T9 SSD Malfunction

OK this is crazy strange
So I did the partition thing one more time ensuring the is only one partition

Inserted the ssd. Same thing happened. Wants to format then says error again
I remove the ssd insert it into laptop.
It doesn't recognise it.
I go to disk management then format it again using the laptop


Reinsert the ssd and then all of sudden is recording over a min and no error. It's just accepted it all of a sudden. I don't know exactly how that happened.

I dunno if I'm convinced it def fix but so far it's working.

I'm happy and confused. Lol

Thing is. I did this to the t but it still didn't work.
I just did some random stuff and it started to work..

Seems like it might depend on the specific drive then. Please keep us posted as we'd like to see if you managed to fix it.

Sounds like formatting it on your laptop via disk management may have done it, based on what you said above.
 
@joysleep great to hear it's working.

A tip- avoid any tension on the cable that enters the Dashcam as overtime it may reduce the reliability of the connection introducing intermittent problems.

Ps had to find the moved thread!

Yh I think my connections are good.
Thanks everyone.

I just hope this doesn't fail cos I don't know how to do what I did again. Lol
