Sd card problems after deleting files via wifi

Hello,

I have noticed that if I am connected to the dashcam via my phone and I delete some files, the next time my dashcam turns on it will not record and tells me to format the card. However, if I put the card into my computer it works completely fine and I am able to access files. Does anyone else have this problem?

don't delete files ad-hoc, better to format the card when you want to get rid of files

Yes deleting files, or moving them off a memory card for storage can often create havoc.
I have always copied ( using card reader ) files from the memory card i wanted to save, and that have always been fine for me.
Never tried to delete some files but i could imagine that would be as problematic as moving a file off the card.

TBH i dont really get why it is like this, cuz hole or not in the file structure the oldest file should just get deleted when the card are full, but that is unfortunately how it is and it have been proven many years back by now.
