Garmin 56. What camera location setting changes when I select left, right, large car. Does the video become different. Changes or corrects lens distortions.
"Setting the Camera Placement
You can mount the device in the left, center, or right of your windshield. For the best performance, you should set the Camera Placement option to indicate the location of your device in the vehicle.

Select Settings > Driver Assistance > Camera Placement.
Select Horizontal Placement, and select the horizontal placement of your camera.
Select Vehicle Height.
Select an option:
If you are driving a large vehicle, like a full size van or truck, select Tall.

If you are driving a car, select Normal."

I wish Garmin was a little more transparent about how the video is affected. Is it exposure, ADAS functions, motion detection or something else?
I selected "Normal" even though I drive an SUV...

Same with me in my truck. Mounted just left of the center mirror.
