Recent purchase, just doing some in-car testing before more permanent install. Latest 1.16 firmware installed.

Front camera, rear camera, recording to memory card, WiFi working OK.

When viewing recorded files transferred to Windows PC (with Movies & TV app), or to Android phone (with built-in Video Player app), I don't see any speed indication on the recorded video. The GPS antenna is plugged in and positioned in the upper right corner of windshield, tape side toward windshield. Speed Unit set to MPH. Driving 20 MPH around the block does not show any speed indication (not even the "MPH" designation). Rear camera not connected while doing this testing.

Any ideas to help me troubleshoot my setup?

Thanks in advance.

More than my wife thinks I need.
First step is to insure the plug is inserted all the way into the socket.

10 years, many dashcams
You can see on the LCD screen if the GPS antennae work, as the GPS icon will be red just after startup and then turn green when signal are acquired.

Some times people have not inserted the GPS plug fully into the camera

Yes, GPS antenna connector not plugged in far enough. Thank you.
All problems should be so easy to resolve. Don't feel bad, you're not the first to be caught by this and you won't be the last (speaking from experience).
