SG9665GC V2 Problems with a faulty power cable + help

Hey everyone,

I bought my dashcam in October this year and I did quite a bit of research, this was a great purchase compared to others of the same price.

I recently had something happen to the connector of my cable on the dashcam side as you can see from the image. The USB metal part has disconnected from the pin. Now my dashcam doesn't power on unless it's in a VERY specific angle, meaning it turns off when I drive over anything that's not a completely flat surface.. I thought it was the disconnected part but it turns out that it's the part circled red that seems to be faulty.



Any ideas how to proceed from here?

Also I hope I don't get too much flak but is there an online guide on how I:
- update my firmware
- clean my lens (is an alcohol wipe safe?)

You can use the black microfiber bag that came in the box to wipe the lens. I wouldn't use an alcohol wipe.

Best thing is, you're not kidding.

I wouldn't use an alcohol wipe.

I use optical lenscleaning fluid, why would this not be advised?
Does it dissolve the glue?

Lens cleaning fluid will be designed for the task, alcohol wipe maybe not
