This is my side-by-side test-review of 4 x dashcameras.
- Innovv C1 ( old lens ) FW: V06-20140109
- Innovv C1 ( new lens ) FW: V06-20140109
- Mobius B-lens, 1080p-L, FW: v1.13
- Panorama II, FW: v1.08.05
NB! For fair comparison Innovv vs Mobius vs Panorama II, please "ignore" comparison of Panorama II if your targeted budget to spend on dashcam is not 200 usd ( cost of Panorama II 189usd ), because Panorama II considered to be from high-end dashcam class and of course it's performance in most cases is better, so bear in mind price-range differences between all 3 dashcams models not to make too hash judgement on cheaper class products. I have added Panorama II in this test to see how far / close can be popular to this forum mini-action sports cameras ( dashcameras ) Mobius and Innovv.
You will see not only normal everyday driving in nice day-time weather or nice good-lit conditions at night like many manufacturers like "to be honest" on their websites adding only video made in close to perfect outdoor conditions, but also an extensive STRESS-TEST from day and night, where I put all 4 to record in "stress-conditions": pitch dark, rain, low sun-light, direct sun-light, tunnels in-out, etc.
It took me nearly 1 month to finish this test, or about 60 hours in total work of my time:
- building special bracket / mount to "accommodate" Innovv and Mobius as close as possible.
- building a Panorama II special mini-mount also for as close as possible mount to the centre of the car windshield, so it will be closer to other dashcameras for more correct tests.
- settings / configurations set-up / mount in car
- driving at day time
- driving at night
- editing / synchronizing ( putting all files / videos together )
- analyzing / comparing
- writing / posting review
... so it's not as easy as some might think on the first place
