Hi,
I've had the Blackvue 650 2 channel cameras in my last 3 cars. Have recently changed over to a Range Rover Sport Hybrid but wasn't quick enough to install the camera before someone in the city swiped the rear quarter and drove off.
The car has a slot for a SIM card, as well as the one that LR use for the apps. I've purchased a data SIM and am hoping that i can set it up so the dashcam is connected to that SIM card and then when in parking mode i still have access to the cloud service and notifications. Currently it connects to my phone hotspot, but this only happens when the car is on.
Any advice gratefully received - and if it is even possible.
